Blush in-demand!

I cannot! Hahaha. Let me laugh out loud first before I continue this...

I was in Jolibee with Jane when I saw this guy on the line, I suppose he was a gasoline boy as he was wearing a Shell uniform. I couldn't help myself from secretly laughing and I hope he didn't see it. The guy was wearing heavy blush -on, which is unusual to me.

Last Saturday morning, after our drinking session at Rufo's, Marcial stopped to load some gas at the station near the office, and out of the blue I asked the gasoline boy if the crew who wears blush on is in. He said that he was in the afternoon shift. He also told us that this guy was prohibited from wearing blush on, but only for a week or so. And then a lot of customers were asking about him. So, I assumed the management of that station decided to rather see him with blush on than to lose their clients who, instead of being bothered by his wearing make up, were positively amused not only by his gay-ish grooming, but probably because he provides customer service par excellance. He defies odds by being who he is and still being able to do his job and give complete satisfaction to customers. It may be funny for some, but I guess he is now in-demand and popular ( he's even on my blog! ).

Moral lesson? I dont know, maybe don't under estimate the power of a blush on! Now i am blushing (but naturally)!

"Breakfast with Scot!"

I watched this movie yesterday as soon as I arrived from work, and it did not disaapoint me at all. The movie was funny, and will touch your heart. I makes me want to have a kid of my own. ( But on the second thought, maye not right now). This is the first film I saw that portrayed a gay kid's life (with a gay guardians). And I love it!

Eric and Sam have been in a committed relationship for four years. Eric's a former hockey player turned sportscaster and Sam's a sport's lawyer. But when Sam's adventure seeking brother Billy, takes a job in South America, his ex-girlfriend, Julie, is discovered dead from a drug overdose leaving her son Scot (not Billy's son) to Billy. But Billy is missing in action so Sam is left to pick up the pieces. But the problem is Eric never wanted kids. When 11-year-old Scot arrives and they open his duffel bag, inside they find... one pink musical hairbrush, two plastic containers of beads and faux-gold chains, a pink poodle belt, and four pairs of white sock-ettes with lacy fringe at the top... they realize Scot is more out of the closet then they are even though he does not know it yet. A unique boy in an even more unusual situation, Scot throws Eric and Sam's life into complete disarray. When Billy finally show's up to take Scot back to South America - Eric and Sam can't bear the thought of losing Scot. - Anon, IMDB.

Reklamo 101

Tse!

Miss Universe 2008

All hail to the new queen! Dayana Mendoza of Venezuela won the 2008 Miss Universe pageant. She is the 57th Miss Universe and this is the 5th title for Venezuela. Miss Universe, if I may say is the most awaited beauty pageant of the Gay Community!

The event was held last July 14 in Vietnam where 80 aspiring beautiful candidates showed off what they got, but unfortunately, Dayana stood up amongst all of them. She is indeed beautiful and what I love the most about her is her perkiness especially the way she answered the final question. She looked stunning in the swimsuit competition and was classy yet elegant yellow gown for the Evening competition. Congrats Dayana! I must say well deserve!

Dayana Mendoza being crowned by Riyo Mori of Japan (Miss Universe 2007)

Miss Colombia (1st runner-up) and Miss Universe 2008 - Miss Venezuela

Love of Siam

Love of Siam
--Wikipedia

Mew and Tong were neighbors and close friends in childhood. But after Tong's sister, Tang, disappeared, Tong's family moved away. The boys are reunited during their senior year of high school at Siam Square. The musically talented Mew is the leader of a boy band called August. Tong has a pretty girlfriend, Donut. The meeting stirs up old feelings that Mew has harbored since boyhood, his love for Tong.

Mew's band, meanwhile, has a new manager, June. She looks just like Tong's long-lost sister, Tang. After meeting June, Tong and his mother, Sunee, devise to a plan to pay June to pretend she is Tang, in hopes that it will pull Tong's father out of his alcoholic depression. Tang borrows a story from the Thai film Ruk Jung, saying she has amnesia, which is why she has forgotten how to say her family's Catholic grace at the dinner table.

Mew is also the object of an unrequited crush of a neighbor girl, Ying. But Mew has strong feelings for Tong, which have inspired him to write new songs.

The boys share a prolonged kiss in Tong's backyard one night after a party in honor of the return of Tang. Tong also spends the night with Mew, which causes his mother to worry.

At Christmas time, as Tong and his mother are decorating a Christmas tree, they have a heart-to-heart talk about making choices, and Tong asks his mother to let him make his own choices.Tong then goes to Siam Square for a date with Donut. Mew's band is playing nearby, so Tong abandons Donut and tells her he cannot be with her. He then rushes to see Mew play and is guided there by Ying, who has accepted the fact that Mew loves Tong. After the performance, Tong gives Mew a gift, a missing nose from a wooden doll that Tong gave him when they were children. However, Tong tells Mew he can't be his boyfriend but that doesn't mean he doesn't love Mew.

"This movie will break your heart, tear it apart and then put it back together! I love everything about it, from the cast, to the story and the cinematography! I would say this is one of the best gay-themed movies I have watched since Brokeback Mountain. You would definitely want to be in love again, and if you are right now, you would want to be in love again, and even more! This movie breaks the convention that gay-themed stories need to always have the erotic, soft-porn flavor to be called outstanding"

Birthday!

July 15, 2008

My 26th birthday! Well, I was on leave from work July 14th and 15th to at least get some rest and to give some time for my birthday. Saturday and Sunday was so quiet as we do not have salary yet, so I was home all weekend. Monday ( July 14 ), I went to my parents' house to celebrate my birthday with my family. My niece, Angela, made it special by singing a happy birthday song 10 minutes after 12 of July 15! She does not know the words, but she was singing along with my parents and my brothers! Of course, we had beer to celebrate!

Tuesday morning, my Mom, Angela and I went to Trinoma and bought her Birthday gown, but wait a minute, this is my birthday and she's getting a gift. Hahaha. Not that I wanted a gown but this is supposed to be my day, but anyway, I love her so much.

Thanks Jane for this!

After that, I went to Glorietta mall to meet my ever loving partner, Dion. We had lunch at the foodcourt ( at least it's Glorietata 4, hahaha ). We then went to Market! Market! to get some haircut (even haircut gets a price increase, what else is cheap in the Philippines, geeze ). I also bought a hair color formula to come with the new haircut. We then went home and sleep for an hour, as Dion needs to go to work, and I am still on VL. Since my housemates, Meann and Nimuel are home, we had a drinking session ( Empi-Brandy), I am still tipsy as of this moment I am writing this.

I talked to my cousin Viotch, and he was telling me to watch on youtube this movie called "Love of Siam", for which I will be doing comments after this blog. It was a quite a day for me, even though I was so terrified and disappointed -work related that somewhat spoiled my birthday. But I would want to think that I shall still need to enjoy this day. I didn't have any gift from anyone today, but oh well, better luck next time hahaha ( bitter ).

I wanted to thank those who greeted, some unexpected, some old friends, new friends, colleagues, family and of course the love of my life (especially). I would say that I may not have that much, but because of the people who care about me, love me and are always there for me, I feel so blessed. Thank you!

Quite a reunion!

I was suppose to meet my old officemates lunch time of Saturday, but as always I fell as sleep and woke up by 3pm. I had 6 missed call logged on my phone and a message from my bestfriend Digs asking where I am? I phoned her back as soon as I got into my senses but her phone was out of reach. I waited and then by 5pm she called me again asking me to go to the meeting place as they are still there. So I went to Market market and meet them. It was fun seeing Digs ( officially my "kumare" )and Alric ( panalo sa mga banat nanaman ), also with Jun who is now a Project Implementation Manager for Citel ( Big time! ). Jun treats us for Dinner at North Park as we reminisce our previous work, life, and travel experiences while we are still in Konekta. "Kidnap gang" as we call or little group.

Whoever wrote this, I salute you!

a broken heart...;-)
Message: Nothing feels quite like a broken heart.

It's true.

A broken heart is the single greatest pain you will
ever have to endure, in fact, the most hurt you can
ever imagine: and the one who commits this
emotional crime is not someone you hate; it is not
even someone you dislike. No, because the only
person who is capable of breaking your heart is
the one who holds it precariously in their hands,
the one with whom you have shared your dreams,
your secrets, your fears - the one you love more
than anybody else in the world... and therein lies
the irony.

However, that is the chance you take. Love is all
about risk. If you give your heart to someone else -
as most of us do at one time or another - it is
theirs to do with as they wish. You now have
absolutely no control over it, and whether it
remains intact is up to them.

Heartbreak is an odd kind of pain, because you
are not dying. You are not even sick. For all intents
and purposes you are perfectly fine, yet inside -
where your heart used to be - you hurt so much
that you can't breathe, you can't sleep, and you
can't stop the tears from falling. You may eat too
much; you may not eat at all. Non-smokers light
up; non-drinkers find a bar.

A broken heart is the world's great equalizer,
because it can bring even the strongest man to
his knees.

It happens to the best of us, they say. Time heals
everything, they say. What doesn't kill us can only
make us stronger, they say. And my personal
favorite - it is better to have loved and lost than
never to have loved at all. Yeah, right. BULLSHIT, I
say.

You will listen to any advice you are given - take a
walk, take a holiday, join a gym, get a haircut -
because everybody over the age of consent thinks
they have an Honors Degree in Heartache. Too
much TV!!!

At the end of it all though you won't actually take
any of this armchair psychology seriously,
because you are STUBBORN, and because
nobody else knows what the hell you are going
through anyway. I mean, how could they?

It's your heart that lies bleeding on the floor
next to
you, not theirs. It's your tears. It's your pain for
God's sake!

It's easy to spot someone who has just had their
heart broken. You'll see them out walking
aimlessly, like extras from a zombie flick,
muttering to themselves in a language only they
understand. Every now and then one of them is
run down by a passing truck or bus. Man, LOVE
REALLY IS BLIND! Not that it really matters
anyway. It's survival of the fittest. Nothing
personal.

How long does it take to get over a broken heart?
It's simple really. NEVER. There is no glue to
mend that kind of thing; no bandage, no quick fix.
All you can do is bend down, pick up the pieces,
and hope you have enough there to find a little
happiness once the tears have dried on your
cheeks. Sure, you move on, you go out with other
people, you smile, you laugh, you love again, you
get married, you have two-point-four children, you
collect your pension, YOU DIE. You may very well
have a good life, a great life even - but that break
is ALWAYS there.

There may be days, weeks - months even - when
it doesn't cross your mind at all, but don't go
fooling yourself into thinking the pain has gone.
You have it tucked away along with all your best
kept secrets. You will be on your deathbed and
through the haze of your memory the only thing you
will know for sure is what happened to your heart
all those years ago.

Very few people go through life unscathed - only
the LUCKY ONES amongst us. Love is a bumpy
ride. Most of us have to endure a few scratches
and scrapes along the way, a couple of bruises, a
fracture or two, and then that final rite of passage
into adulthood - the broken heart. Pat yourself on
the back; you are now in the club. You never
wanted to sign up, I'm sure, but you're here for
life. 'Til death us do part, baby.

Get over it!

Bitter!

Bitter as defined by Mirriam –Webster :

1 a: being or inducing the one of the four basic taste sensations that is peculiarly acrid, astringent, or disagreeable and suggestive of an infusion of hops — compare
salt, sour, sweet b: distasteful or distressing to the mind : galling

2: marked by intensity or severity: a: accompanied by severe pain or suffering
b: being relentlessly determined :
vehement c: exhibiting intense animosity d (1): harshly reproachful (2): marked by cynicism and rancor e: intensely unpleasant especially in coldness or rawness

3: expressive of severe pain, grief, or regret

---

The definition surely expressed it all. This blog is for you, yes for you, I bet you will even bother read this. You are the one you caused yourself your own pain. You are a crazy bitch who does not know the word “ happy”. You are the one who complains all the time, and do nothing! Why? Because the attention was not given to you. You complain too much that you can’t even accept that the world don not like you at all. If you think you are now happy with what is going on with your life, but who wants to know? No need to share your negativity to those who don’t even need you opinion and not even your attention. You may have succeeded on getting my attention for now, you crazy bitch, but the hell I care. I am still here, standing and getting all the attention and still doing great and very happy. But you? Come on! Let’s face it, people hate you! You even hate yourself! My advice: accept who and what you are - an ugly fucking bitch that is not being welcomed by the whole world! Get that? Now leave me alone, go on with your life and stop bothering me! Please Stop me!

Work it!
